Some customers with our e-mail protection service may experience delay in receiving e-mail due to an outage with one of our bandwidth providers. The issue causing the e-mail delivery delay has been identified and engineers are working on resolving the problem. A temporary resolution has been put in place to allow mail to be delivered successfully to our customers. However, this may result in a temporary increase in levels of SPAM being received.
28/Apr/08 10:00 At this point some customers have a fully restored service. Other customers may experience higher levels of SPAM than usual. We are in the process of completing a migration to alternative mail filtering servers. If you have Oscura mail accounts but do not use Oscura DNS services then you will need to update your domains for correct mail delivery and ensure there is at least one record to a direct Oscura mail exchange - please contact us for further assistance.
29/Apr/08 08:30 We are completing the migration to the new service this morning. Full service for all customers is expected to be resumed by 11:00. During the migration period there may have been delay in the receipt of some e-mail and an increased level of SPAM received.
29/Apr/08 11:00 All customers have been migrated to the new platform and we have successfully tested the service. SPAM should now be filtered correctly and all appropriate e-mail should be received in a timely manner. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding your e-mail protection service.
